Support Payments Terms

1. What a support payment is

1.1. A support payment is a voluntary, one-time payment you choose to send to OTWONO Enterprises LLC (“OTWONO”, “we”, “us” or “our”) to support the creation of Bad Orbit and other OTWONO Studios work.

1.2. You choose the amount, from $1 to $1,000 USD per payment.

1.3. These Support Payments Terms add to the OTWONO Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Please read: what a support payment is not

2.1. OTWONO Enterprises LLC is a for-profit company, not a charity. A support payment is not a charitable donation and is not tax deductible.

2.2. A support payment does not buy ownership, equity, shares, membership interests, a share of profits or revenue, a loan, interest, or any financial return of any kind. It is not an investment.

2.3. A support payment does not buy any product, membership, download or other benefit, and it does not give you any rights in OTWONO’s content or any say in OTWONO’s decisions, unless a specific benefit is clearly stated on the page at the time you pay.

2.4. OTWONO may use support payments for any lawful business purpose.

3. How payments are made

3.1. Support payments are processed by PayPal. Depending on what PayPal offers you, you can pay with PayPal, Venmo, or a debit or credit card. PayPal’s terms also apply.

3.2. OTWONO never receives or stores your full card details.

3.3. Each support payment is a single payment. It does not repeat unless you make another one.

3.4. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian make the payment.

4. Receipts

4.1. For each support payment, OTWONO emails you a receipt from noreply@otwonostudios.com, and PayPal sends its own receipt.

4.2. Receipts are for your records only. They are not donation receipts for tax purposes.

5. Refunds

5.1. Because support payments are voluntary payments to a business, they are generally non-refundable.

5.2. Mistakes. If you made a mistake, such as entering the wrong amount or paying twice by accident, email billing@otwonostudios.com within 7 days of the payment with your PayPal transaction number, and we will refund the mistaken amount.

5.3. Unauthorized payments. If someone made a support payment using your account or card without your permission, contact us and PayPal right away.

5.4. Nothing here limits rights you have under laws that cannot be waived. See also the Refund Policy.

6. Recognition

We do not thank supporters publicly by name unless you ask us to.

7. Privacy

When you send a support payment, we keep your name and email address as provided by PayPal, the amount, the date, and PayPal’s transaction reference, so we can send your receipt, handle questions and keep business and tax records. See the Privacy Policy.
